The chapter’s primary purposes are to serve the community through the promotion of improved fraud detection and deterrence, to provide training events that expand the knowledge of its members, and to foster opportunities for its members to interact and network.

The chapter promotes its core values of Professionalism, Integrity, Collaboration, and Knowledge.

Join Us for an Exciting Year Ahead!

As we reflect on an outstanding year of professional development, our CPE offerings spanned a wide array of timely and thought-provoking topics. From exploring the ethical implications of AI in accounting to uncovering fraud in unexpected places like the equine and food assistance industries, our sessions tackled real-world challenges with practical insights. Highlights included deep dives into cybercrime, data analytics for legal support, and high-profile ethics discussions featuring industry leaders. We’re excited to announce our upcoming training opportunities for the new membership year soon—stay tuned!

Senior Scams: Free Community Awareness Event

On August 28th from 10:30am-12pm (Eastern), our chapter is hosting a FREE virtual event designed to educate and raise awareness about current consumer scams.  Individuals of all ages fall victim to these scams, but seniors and vulnerable populations are especially targeted.

This event will consist of a presentation given by Danielle Murphy from the Office of Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost.  Time will be reserved at the end for questions and answers.

Anyone who is interested in the topic is welcome to attend, and we encourage members of the community to join to learn more about this important topic and how to protect themselves and their loved ones.  (Note that this event does not offer CPE.)

Registration is free but required; Zoom will email a unique link to registrants after completing the registration.
